"Joy is running to represent all Islanders and will fight to maintain our quality of life. Through her successful experience as a government affairs professional and her dedicated Mercer Island community services, she has demonstrated that she has what it takes. Joy currently chairs the Mercer Island Arts Council. Additionally, she has served on the Board of the Committee for Mercer Island Public Schools, the Mercer Island Preschool Association, the West Mercer Elementary School PTSA, and coaches soccer for the Mercer Island Football Club, where she also sits on the Board."
