Caruccio's Build Updates & Photos from Soft Opening Weekend

August 29, 2017

We've come a long way ever since Lisa Caruccio first had her idea of creating a culinary event center on Mercer Island, and now the grand opening for Caruccio’s on September 14th is less than a month away!

Suzanne Zahr and her Design-Build team are thrilled to finally light up the Caruccio's site! On August 24th, the Caruccio’s site was officially handed over to the Caruccio’s team for their soft opening weekend. Final inspections were completed just in time for the soft opening, and now they’re up and running, getting acclimated to their new space and making it their own. Suzanne’s team is delighted to see Lisa’s dream fully realized and come to life.

Stazione25 Brand Identity - [Interview with Laurent Bourscheidt.]

August 24, 2017

A major aspect of the SZ approach is to curate a team of consultants that meets the needs of each and every client. We bring together a team of multidisciplinary experts, finding the best fit for each individual project. By working with a consortium of creatives, we have more agility and fluidity to achieve project goals and meet our clients’ unique needs.

When the SZ team collaborated with Mt. Baker Station Associates for the brand-new urban housing hub Stazione25, we brought in Laurent Bourscheidt of L+B Design to provide creative direction for the Stazione25 brand identity. Laurent developed the aesthetics and the details of the brand in conjunction with Mt. Baker Station Associates, Morgan Design Group, the architect of record, and Bristal Design Group, the interior designers. Each consultant brought their expertise to the brainstorming table, providing a multidisciplinary approach to developing the brand guidelines.

Moment of Inspiration - [Seattle Art Fair.]

August 24, 2017

The SZ team took a trip to the Seattle Art Fair on August 6th to support the art scene of the Pacific Northwest, and we took some photos of our favorite pieces.

Founded by Paul Allen in 2015, the Seattle Art Fair is meant to showcase the best in modern and contemporary art and represent the arts community of the Pacific Northwest. It aims to bring together collectors, galleries, and various local arts groups to one place, and Allen’s goal is to get Seattle on the art world map.

Event Photos: First Friday (08.04.17) - Art & Wine [& Food & Music]

August 7, 2017

Another wonderful gathering of friends, as we enjoyed the photographic exhibit, DETRITUS, by Sen. Lisa Wellman.

So grateful for Caruccio's culinary delights, as well as the musical musings of Asim Kapoor, talented Cellist & son of Artist, Deborah Kapoor.

Special thanks to Keith Imper of MICA for interviewing Lisa Caruccio for yet another #microMICAmoment at the SZ Gallery.

Cheers!
