It’s with great pleasure & delight that we re-launch our First Friday tradition! Please join us this First Friday, July 2nd (and Second Friday, July 9, along with Clarke + Clarke, Barrels and other local Mercer Island businesses), as we welcome back celebrated PNW artist, Debra Van Tuinen.

Kick off your 4th of July festivities with a cocktail, fine arts and an outdoor plaza gathering at the SZ Gallery. We miss you & can’t wait to see you, in person!

Meet Kosta Kulundzic - Extraordinary Artist

Kosta Kulundzic is a French artist of Serbian ancestry, born in Paris in 1972. He currently lives in Honolulu where he is an adjunct art professor at the University of Hawaii and a drawing and painting professor at the School of Architecture of Paris Val de Seine. He has shown in Paris, Belgrade, Sarajevo, Brussels, Honolulu, and at the SZ Gallery on Mercer Island in 2016, where he performed both a live painting and drawing - lucky us!

Meet Kosta Kulundzic at the SZ Gallery on Friday, June 7th for our First Friday Art & Wine Reception, 5 - 8 pm. Marvel has been churning out movies since 2008 with the release of Iron Man. But, Black Panther made a huge splash last year as the third highest grossing film in North American cinematic history, dethroning Titanic. Not only did its success blow minds at the box office, but Black Panther has re-energized a cultural movement – AfroFuturism.
